My lifestyle at London Fashion Weekend / OOTD.

Hello Everyone, I am sorry I have posted this a bit late, been a very hectic weekend. As some of you may know who has read my current blog post. I attended London Fashion Weekend.

I have been given a press pass which allowed me free entry on any day of the event. I decided to go on Sunday with my family, and had access to watch the catwalk, which was amazing! However the catwalk was more promoting on Lilly Allen, showing clips of the Maybeline colour show nail varnishes, and Kendall Jenner at the Brit Awards.

For the presenter they featured Angela Scanlon to present the catwalk and guide you through. The catwalk had four trends that they have featured and this lasted 30 minutes long.

It included Precious Metals from Antonio Beradi, Balmain and Marni designers. This look added sparkles and glam to each of the outfit that the models have shown wearing. I found it very daring and adds a special vibe to every outfit.

Flower power designed by Erdem, Jonathan Saunders and Preen presented vibrant floral motifs that would definitely get you exited for the spring.

Lace Embrace designed by Christopher Kane, Diane von Furstenberg and Oscar de la Renta showed sheer chic clothing from tops dresses and skirts that are all so delicate and feature gorgeous textures.

And last but not least the catwalk finished off with a trend called Good Sport. It is a style designed by designers such as Alexander Wang, Peter Pilotto and Stella McCartney, The clothing style gave the shoulders a more broader look, but also feminine with the silhouettes outlined.

My favourite would be the flower power as I loved the collection and think it's a great style to be wearing and would definitely brighten my wardrobe. Watching the precious metal catwalk has also given me a more better understanding on how to match outfits with that particular look.

Here are now images of the catwalk trend. Sorry about the quality of the photographs not looking professional as I completely forgot to pack my camera as I'm such a mare and improvised using my cheeky I-phone.

Catwalk Trends

Free pamphlets, discount cards, designer cards / Silver Ticket free Tote bag &goodies , card holder /
free Lav Azza Coffee.

Whilst touring Sommerset House the venue was exquisite giving you freebies of products to try out such as Lav Azza promoting their limited coffee, perfect for coffee lovers like me. They also had Muller light yoghurt the new mango flavour giveaways and beauty cereal bars in different flavours. And my favourite one of all was the Cannon company which allowed you to use props and have your photo taken at a 360 angle, also giving you Limited Edition Posters of House of Holland and Phoebe English.

The silver ticket came along with free Baby Lips and Essie nail varnishes alongside Label M hair products.

London Fashion Weekend had amazing clothes from designers for you to look at, but unfortunately for me they were a bit out of my range and did not want to splash my money on insane prices for a clothing. Surprisingly for once I thought twice on whether to purchase an item. These are the shots I have taken of some of the displays they had on stall.

I also visited the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore museum, now for me I'm not a museum fan, but when it came to this it had certainly grabbed my attention on the beautiful clothes that she has designed and collaborated with also knowing more information about her and Isabella's design. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photographs inside the museum.

Tip for bloggers who attends next year, making a business card would be really helpful and ideal, you would be meeting many other fashion bloggers and might get an opportunity with a client. Here is an example of a business card that I have made.
My business card.

There are also talks about certain topics of fashion and makeover try outs for you to attend whilst looking around.
London with my family. (Mother and Sister)

Over all London Fashion Weekend has a lot to offer, but only gives limited time of how long you can stay for.  and they choose what time you can go in for the catwalk show if you have decided to get tickets. For me I personally think that the event hours was not long enough to view everything. Time really did fly by!

Now for most people you might wonder on what to wear for these type of events, luckily on my Instagram I have taken a browse on what the others have worn and decided to dress stylish and on trend. Most of the people that attended London Fashion Weekend did dress up and some guys actually turned up and worn suits, but it's OK to dress casually too. For me I couldn't dress up as much as I had to travel far, for people who do live in London this shouldn't be a problem. But I would advice you to feel comfortable on what you wear as you will be doing a lot of waiting and walking. Trust me!

OOTD - Outfit of the Day
Everything Leather.

Biker Jacket - H&M / Leather Top - Zara / Leather skirt - Primark / Floral Bag - Fiorelli / Buckle Boots - New Look.
I decided to wear all leather, and go for a rocker chic look for once instead of dressing up all girly. The top was my absolute favourite and with the three colours it added more colour and texture to the outfit, Wearing a raunchy dark purple lipstick adds a special touch to your make up. A brighter colourful bag stands out and will certainly grab attention from everything else. Wearing a comfy biker boots will definitely do the trick, you also cannot go wrong wearing a leather jacket to keep you warm.

Hope this has given you an idea of what London Fashion Weekend has to offer. Will keep you updated very soon on different Outfit of the day. Fashion bloggers stay alert!
